Lady Cavaliers use strong second half to surge by Pensacola State 71-60

BOSSIER CITY, La. - The Bossier Parish Community College Lady Cavaliers used a strong second half to surge past the Pensacola State Pirates 71-60 in game four of the BPCC Classic on New Year's Day.

Trailing 28-26 at halftime, BPCC outscored Pensacola 45-32 in the second half to grab the 11-point win. The Lady Cavaliers were led by Gabby Dodson, who scored a game-high 22 points. Dodson also had seven rebounds, five steals and four blocked shots.  Alexandria Pollard registered her sixth double-double of the season by scoring 15 points and pulling down a game-high 17 rebounds. Pollard also had four blocked shots. Autumn Goram was the only other Lady Cavalier in double figures as she added 17 points.
