BPCC distance runners ink with four-year schools

BOSSIER CITY, La. - In front of a large contingency of family, friends and supporters, Bossier Parish Community College distance runners Rangel Miller and Paden Sisterhen signed with four-year schools on Tuesday. The ceremony was held in a classroom inside the Coach Billy Montgomery Gymnasium.

Miller, a Bossier High School product, inked with East Texas Baptist University, while Sisterhen, who's from Calvary Baptist Academy in Shreveport, signed with Centenary College. Teammates at BPCC, Miller and Sisterhen are very close friends off the course and track, will now meet as rivals at their respective NCAA Div. III schools.

While at BPCC, the two runners helped the Cavaliers capture the 2018 NJCAA Region XIV Championship, a first in school history, and compete in the NJCAA National Meet.
