Jeff Wiese is in his third season as an assistant coach at Bossier Parish Community College.
During the 2021-22 season, Wiese assisted the Cavaliers to a 16-14 mark and the program’s first win in the Region XIV tournament. In his first season at BPCC, the Cavaliers won two games against Top 10 ranked opponents. The Cavaliers saw two student-athletes named All-Region XIV. Jaeden Marshall and Derick Hamilton were named first team and honorable mention respectively. Both Marshall (University of Nebraska Omaha) and Hamilton (University of Texas at El Paso) signed NCAA Division 1 scholarships.
Wiese previously served as an assistant to legendary north Louisiana high school coaches, Miles Holladay and Chris White. He also served as assistant to Leon Neal, a member of the Missouri Basketball Hall of Fame and a 30-year college coach. Wiese most recently assisted Todd Martinez, a veteran coach of 23 years, who is currently the head coach at Benton High School. Wiese spent time assisting Mike Theus with the Louisiana Select Team Paul Millsap travel team. Theus has run the elite program for 30 years and has had 10 former players reach the NBA.
Wiese started his collegiate career at Southern Arkansas University playing both basketball and baseball for the Muleriders. He later transferred and finished his collegiate career at Centenary College of Louisiana. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Centenary in 1994. Wiese would go on to earn a master's degree in business administration with an emphasis on management from Louisiana Tech University in 1998.
