
BOSSIER CITY, LA — BPCC's Braylan McNeal was named to the men's basketball All-Region team in a vote by the region coaches, the league announced Saturday.
McNeal was named to the 10-member second team, marking the second straight season the sophomore guard has earned all-region honors. Coaches were not able to vote for student-athletes from their own team.
McNeal finished the 2024-25 season scoring double figures in 25 of his 31 games played. The Bernice, Louisiana, native led BPCC in scoring at 15.3 ppg which ranked fourth in Region 14. McNeal also led the Cavaliers in rebounding at 7.9 rpg, which is second in Region 14. McNeal was second in Region 14 in double-doubles (10). The former Ruston High School standout also led the Cavaliers in steals per game (2.2), blocks per game (1.9), and field goal percentage (49.7%). McNeal led Region 14 in steals (68) and finished third in blocked shots (60). This marks his second all-region selection.
McNeal capped off his career as a Cavalier with 850 points, 488 rebounds, 113 steals, and 101 blocks.
