CHARLOTTE, NC- The NJCAA has announced the 2022-23 All-Academic Teams, recognizing student-athletes across the country for their dedication in the classroom.

D'Marcus Hall has been named NJCAA All-Academic First Team. Hall was one of only three student-athletes representing Men's Basketball from Region XIV to earn First Team honors. He graduated from BPCC in the spring and signed a scholarship to play at Southern Arkansas University next season. Hall was the second Men's Basketball student-athlete from BPCC to be named NJCAA All-Academic in three seasons.

Student-athletes are eligible to earn academic honors by achieving an overall GPA of 3.60 or higher for the 2022-23 academic year. The criteria for the three All-Academic teams are listed below:

NJCAA All-Academic First Team: 4.00 GPA
NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: 3.80-3.99 GPA
NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: 3.60-3.79 GPA
