Three Cavaliers Selected Region XIV All-Conference

BOSSIER CITY, LA- Christian Caldwell, Kendrick Delahoussaye, and D'Marcus Hall were named Region XIV All-Conference Sunday night. The All-Region and All-Conference teams are chosen by the head coaches from Region XIV.

Caldwell, the returner from Natchitoches, averaged 12.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game in the 2022-23 campaign. Both averages were his personal best in a Cavalier uniform. The sophomore blocked 36 shots this season, which ranks fourth for a single season in school history. He caps off his BPCC career with 814 points, 491 rebounds, and 81 blocks while shooting 55.3% from the field.

Delahoussaye, the Lafayette High School product, averaged 14.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game this season. His 143 made free throws (4th) and 170 attempted free throws (7th) both rank amongst the top ten in a single season in school history. Delahoussaye ranked 14th in points per game (14.5) and fifth in free throw percentage (84.1%) in Region XIV. The sophomore scored a career-high 25 points (10-13 from the field) at home against Kilgore College this season

Hall, the University of Louisiana at Monroe transfer, averaged 11.5 points and 5 rebounds per game. His 44% from three this season ranked third in Region XIV play. The sophomore poured in a career-high 27 points (9-13 from the field) on the road at Navarro College. That 27-point performance was the highest point total for any Cavalier this season.

The Cavaliers won their first-round matchup in the Region XIV Tournament with Angelina College 62-55 in overtime last Tuesday. BPCC's season came to an end two days later with a loss to #10 Panola College in the quarterfinals.
