Cavalier Baseball Sweeps The Day Against Panola

Bossier City, La- The Cavs bounced back in a big way yesterday and took both games of the conference doubleheader with the Panola Ponies. Game 1 the score was 4-1 and game 2 the score was 7-2. 

In game 1 Seth Gurr was lights out surrendering 3 hits and 1 run in 6 innings of work. Gurr had all three pitches working and looked very poised and collected on the bump. Garrett Lott closed the game and recieved the save. The Cavs had 10 hits, a homerun by Adam Garcia and multiple hits by Brando Leroux, Connor Crowson and Emil Estrella

Game 2 saw the southpaw Jeb Drewery take the mound and get the job done through 3 complete innings. Drewery gave up 4 hits and 1 run in his appearance. Trevor Wall was lights out out of the bullpen as was Ryan McClish and Jackson Schwank. The offense was led by multiple hits from Emil Estrella, Nick Gray and a home run from Brando Leroux

 

The Cavaliers are back in action Saturday as they take on Angelina College at home in Bossier City, La. Game 1 is set for 1 pm.
