The Bossier Parish Cavaliers Sweep The Doubleheader With Arkansas State-Mountain Home

Bossier City, La- The Bossier Parish Cavaliers took both games of the double header against Arkansas State University-Mountain Home to open the 2023 season. The Cavaliers tallied twenty hits on the day, scored a total of thirty-three runs, played sound defense and got the pitching needed to get the sweep.
The offense was led by short stop Brando Leroux and designated hitter Emil Estrella. Leroux had three homeruns and eleven RBI's while Estrella had four hits on the day.
Ryan McClish got the win for the Cavaliers in game one. The big right-handed pitcher gave up two runs on three hits while going three complete innings. Trevor Wall, Joshua Pena and Caden Griffin all supplied innings out of the bullpen, helping the Cavaliers to capture the win in game one.
Jeb Drewery got the win for the Cavaliers in game two. The southpaw went three complete innings surrendering three hits and two runs with six strikeouts. Miles Justin, Nathan June, Hayden Cuthbertson and Brady Parker all got an inning out of the bullpen to keep the lead secure for the Cavaliers.
