BPCC Cavaliers Grab Midweek Home Win Over Paris Junior College

The BPCC Cavaliers (11-7, 5-4) pushed past the .500 mark in the Region XIV Conference with the win over Paris Junior College (12-9, 6-4) on Wednesday evening at home.  The Cavs have won their last two games and are currently in eighth in the 14 team conference.  

The Cavaliers took an early first half lead at 35-31 and stretched that lead into the second half to pick up the 77-64 conference win.  This was the third consecutive loss for the Dragons.  

Adrian Walker was the BPCC top scorer with 17 points and 5 assists.  Jeremy Richard scored 16 points on shooting 6 for 8 from the field and a perfect 4 for 4 from the charity stripe.  Freshman sensation Jaeden Marshall netted 14 and grabbed 5 rebounds.  Former Southwood Cowboy Eric McKnight added 12 points and 6 rebounds.  Derrick Hamilton crashed the boards for 7 rebounds including 5 defensive.  Christian Caldwell pulled down 6 rebounds.  Kendrick Delahoussaye collected 5 rebounds.   

BPCC Cavs will try to stretch the winning streak to 3 games on Saturday as they will travel to Athens, TX to face Trinity Valley (9-8, 4-4) Cardinals.
