Lady Cavs Sweep NTCC

Taysia Constantino dorve in four runs on two hits to lead Bossier Parish Community College past Northeast Texas Community College 19-4 on Saturday. Constantino hit a homerun to left field in the fourth inning, scoring three runs, and walked in the seventh inning, scoring one.Morgan Womack,Constantino, and Makinizie Stutts at the bottom of the Lady Cavaliers line up combined for seven of the team's 12 hits in their victory. They scored seven runs and drove in 11.

 

Northeast Texas Community College were first to get on the board in the first when Braylynn Henderson doubler, Scoring one run.

 

Piper Garcia homered to center field on the sixth pitch of the at-bat, Which helped Bossier parish tie the game at one in the top of the second.

 

In the bottom of the second, Northeast Texas broke up the tie when Lily Galaviz singled, Scoring one run. Then a double play by Peyton Holland followed to extend the lead to 4-1.

 

Constantino homered to left field on the eighth pitch of the at-bat, which helped Bossier Parish tie the game at four in the top of the fourth.

 

Bossier Parish Lady Cavaliers scored nine runs on six hits in the top of the seventh inning. Stutts sungled, scoring one run, Womack singled, scoring two runs, Madison Ruiz grounded out, scoring on run, Skylar Hegar singled, scoring one run, Constantino drew a walk, scoring one run, and stutts tripled, scoring three runs.

 

Peyton McCloskey pitched five and one-third innings in relief for Bossier Parish. The reliever gave up four hits and zero runs while, striking out six and walking one. macie LaRue stepped in the circle first for Bossier Parish Community College. The righty gave up eight hits and four runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking none. Kinard started in the circle for Northeast Texas Community College. The starting pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out onr and walking none.

 

Bossier Parish Lady Cavaliers tallied 12 hits in the game. Lady Cavaliers Womack made the most of their chances at the plate. The number nine hitter led the team with three hits in five at bats. Bossier Parish had a strong eye at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Debra Tofi abd Hegar led the team with two bases on balls each. Bossier Parish Community College Lady Cavaliers were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Womack had the most chances in the field with nine.

 

Northeast Texas Community College amasses 12 hits in the game. Holland drove the middle of the lineup, leading NTCC with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 4-for-4 on the day. Landry Fonsecca and Galaviz each collected multiple hits for Northeast Texas.

 

Bossier Parish Community College was Victorious again in game two against Northeast Texas Community College 6-3 on Saturday.

 

Northeast Texas Community College got on the board in the second inning after Kyndal Yaross doubled, Scoring one run.

 

Serena Hopkins doubled, which helped Bossier Parish tie the game at one in the top of the fourth

 

The Lady Cavaliers flipped the game on its head in the top of the fifth, scoring five runs on six hits to take a 6-1 lead. The biggest blo in the inning was a home run to center by Taysia Constantino that drove in two.

 

Brielle Moreno stepped in the circle first for Bossier Parish lady cavs. The righty gave up five hits and three runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking two. Grant lead things off in the circle for Northeast Texas. The starting pitcher allowed nine hits and six runs (five earned) over four and two-thirds innings, Striking out two and wlaking none. Rylee Glenn threw two and one-third innings of no-run ball for Bossier Parish in relief. Giving up one hit, striking out two and walking one.

 

Bossier Parish Lady Cavaliers collected 11 hits in the game. Mckenzie Vestal, Morgan Womack, Hopkins, and Skylar Hegar each collected two hits for Bossier Parish. Constantino went 1-for-3 at the plate as she led the team with two runs batted in. Bossier parish did not commit a single error in the field. Hopkins made the most plays with five.

 

Number seven hitter, Landry Fonsecca, showed the depth of Northeast Texas Community College's lineup, by leading them with two hits in three at bats. Braylyn Henderson went 1-for-2 at the plate as the pitcher led the team with two runs batted in.
