No. 2 LSU Eunice defeats No. 19 Bossier Parish 3-0 in game one of doubleheader

EUNICE, La. - In a battle of nationall-ranked teams, both teams were strong in the circle on Tuesday, but Louisiana State University at Eunice was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a 3-0 victory over the Bossier Parish Community College Lady Cavaliers at Lady Bengal Field. 

Jensen Howell was on the rubber for LSU Eunice. She surrendered zero runs on four hits over seven innings, striking out 13 and walking one.Cormier toed the rubber for Bossier Parish Community College Lady Cavaliers. Dorrie Cormier started the game for the Lady Cavaliers and recorded 15 outs. She surrendered three runs on four hits over five innings. Leann Franks threw one inning out of the bullpen.

Ruby ButlerEmily Hardy, Cormier, and Hailey Pence all had one hit to lead Bossier Parish Community College Lady Cavaliers. Abbey Higginbotham led the Lady Bengals with two hits in three at bats.
