Cavaliers Dominate in 2022 Finale

BOSSIER CITY, LA- BPCC defeated the Baton Rouge Capitals 124-56 in a record-breaking performance. Saturday's 68-point victory broke the school record for largest margin of victory in school history, topping a record set in the first game of the 2022-23 campaign.

The Cavaliers finished the game with seven players in double figures. Christian Caldwell led all scorers with 26 points. He added 12 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. Damani Claxton led BPCC with 6 assists also scoring 17 points while shooting 8-10 from the field.

Kendrick Delahoussaye, Elijah Beard, and Jon'Quarius McGhee finished the contest with 14, 14, and 11 points respectively. Both Logan Turner (14 points, 11 rebounds) and Hugo Clarkin (10 points, 11 rebounds) registered double-doubles.

The Cavaliers (8-5) resume Region XIV play next Wednesday against Coastal Bend College (8-6) at LSUS. Tip-off is scheduled for 2pm.
