Three Bossier Parish pitchers combine to no-hit Louisiana College's Junior Varsity

PINEVILLE, La. - Bossier Parish Community College defeated Louisiana College's Junior Varsity 10-0 on Monday, as three Cavaliers pitchers teamed up to throw a no-hitter. Will Hine struck out Lawton Lloyd to get the last out of the game.

Branon Pope was the winning pitcher for Bossier Parish Community College. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over four innings, striking out seven. Casey Todd and Hine entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

In the first inning, BPCC got its offense started when Hudson LaBorde singled on a 3-0 count, scoring one run. The Cavaliers put up three runs in the fifth inning. BPCC's big bats in the inning were led by a single by Kyle Jones and a double by Andrew Mills.

Bob Jones took the loss for Louisiana College JV. He surrendered five runs on eight hits over three innings, striking out one and walking zero.

Bossier Parish  smacked one home run on the day. Jones went for the long ball in the fourth inning. Bossier Parish Community College had 16 hits in the game. Adrian MinjaresHunter Shaw, Jones, Mills, LaBorde, and Bobby Lada each had multiple hits for BPCC. Minjares led the Cavaliers with three hits in four at bats.
