BPCC Baseball Field

The Bossier Parish Community College Cavaliers play their home games at the BPCC Baseball Field, which is located on the southwest corner of BPCC’s campus adjacent to Building I - the Coach Billy Montgomery Gymnasium. Ground was broken on the home of BPCC baseball in 2009. The field was ready for play in the fall of 2010, with the first official games played on it in the spring of 2011.

The Cavaliers play on a beautiful field with a Pantera Rye grass infield, oversized dugouts and a coated chain linked fence that completely encases the field. Prior to the 2019 season, a new aluminum outfield fence was installed. The new 6-foot fence runs from foul pole to foul pole, but doubles in height in the "batters eye" in center field. The dimensions measure 314 feet down the left-field line and 315 down the right-field line, 365 in the power alleys and 385 to straight away center field. A digital scoreboard is located beyond the left field fence. Prior to the 2018 season, a halo was added around home plate with maroon turf covering the top with CAVALIERS in white trimmed in gold surround the batters circle.

In 2017, the press box project was completed at the field. The project included seating for a public address announcer, scoreboard operator as well as an official scorer. A fully functional concession stand as well as restrooms is located between the baseball and softball fields. Concrete and asphalt walkways surround the grandstand and backstop, and links the two fields to the main parking area.
